SachtoFer: High-quality iron-ore concentrates

Sulfur/metal compounds are required in the production of our sulfuric acid. We convert them in our sulfuric acid plant's fluidized bed furnace to high-quality iron-ore concentrates matching our customers' specifications. We systematically supply SachtoFer iron-ore concentrates to the construction industry, where they are an indispensable additive as a flux in the production of Portland cement. We can supply three grades, with differing iron contents, of 47%, 50% and 56%, respectively. SachtoFer is also used for the production of aerated clays for hydroculture pebbles. Fine ore with an iron content of around 40% is used as a slagging agent in the non-ferrous metals industry.
